The Social Learners provides speech, language, and social communication services in Loudoun and Fairfax Counties. Their founders, nationally certified Speech-Language Pathologists, share a passion for seeing children grow in their ability to participate in conversations, play collaboratively, and build relationships! They achieve this with their peers through social groups, in-home speech and language therapy, and parent coaching intervention.
Your children are invited to join them in a social group (year-round rolling enrollment) or a social learning camp:
Social Learning Camps
Led by certified Speech-Language Pathologists, summer camps are a great way to introduce children to the social-cognitive competencies required for communicating and building friendships with one another. These competencies are embedded into a variety of dramatic play, fine and gross motor, team-building activities, and STEM projects.
Social Learning Camp is designed for children who communicate verbally and can participate in activities without one-on-one support. This summer opportunity is held at Arcola UMC (24757 Arcola Mills Dr., Dulles, VA 20166).
Social Groups
In addition to summer camps, The Social Learners offers social group opportunities, also led by certified Speech-Language Pathologists. These small groups for elementary-age children focus on improving social communication through social stories, role-playing, play-based activities, and modeling.
Social Groups have year-round rolling registration, giving families flexibility and convenience!
