VolunteerFest

This event has passed, but check out our calendar for fun today, this week, this month!

Volunteer Fairfax is excited to host VolunteerFest, an annual, region-wide week of community service held in conjunction with National Make-a-Difference Day on October 27, 2018!

This annual event brings together hundreds of friends and neighbors to make the community better! Projects will be offered in locations throughout Northern Virginia, vary in scope and size, and take place between October 20-28, 2018. Click here to see all the different opportunities available.

Volunteer Fairfax offers meaningful volunteer opportunities with a broad range of non-profits in Northern Virginia. Their website allows interested volunteers to choose current needs (have a free weekend?) or do an advanced search of their database for future opportunities. You can even fine-tune your search by choosing the “family-friendly” option to make sure the choices are ideal for kids. There are many possibilities to choose from, which could include helping with arts and crafts, providing animal shelter support, or raking leaves to name a few.
