Tickets may be purchased online or at the aquarium (please note that some blackout dates do apply; please call ahead to confirm).

The National Aquarium is consistently ranked as one of the nation’s top three aquariums and has hosted more than 51 million guests since opening in 1981. It is Maryland’s largest paid tourist attraction, with more than 20,000 fish, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and marine mammals living in award-winning habitats.

One of National Aquarium’s must-see exhibits is Blacktip Reef. Located in the heart of the Aquarium and visible from multiple floors, this coral-filled exhibit replicates an Indo-Pacific reef. It boasts a wide range of life, from blacktip reef sharks and tasseled wobbegongs to a 500-pound green sea turtle and honeycomb stingrays. Check out this habitat and more aquarium experiences here.

The National Aquarium is located at 501 E. Pratt St., Baltimore, MD 21202.
