Squeeze in a workout while the kids play!
Drop-in childcare at three Fairfax County Park Authority Recreation Centers gives parents a little me-time while using the gym or facilities. Dedicated staff keeps kids busy with activities, games, and crafts that get them moving, playing, and making new friends.
Locations include:
- Cub Run Rec Center
4630 Stonecroft Blvd ∙ Chantilly, VA
703-817-9407 - Oakmont Rec Center
3200 Jermantown Rd ∙ Oakton, VA
703-281-6501 - Mount Vernon Rec Center
2017 Belle View Blvd ∙ Alexandria, VA
703-768-3224
Feel good knowing your kids are safe, too. All staff members are CPR- and first-aid certified (and pass a background check) before being hired. Even better, you get a pager, so staff can easily reach you if needed.
Check-in is easy! Just return a completed information form to the childcare staff at your Recreation Center. Space is limited and first-come, first-served; kids can stay up to two hours, and parents stay inside the building the whole time.
