Winter Wonder Lab @ Children’s Science Center Lab
The Children’s Science Center is packed with play-driven science fun for kids of all ages!
They invite your family to explore their zones, each offering the opportunity to dive into STEM concepts (science, technology, engineering, and math) through hands-on activities and play. No matter your age, you’ll test ideas, build solutions, and ask plenty of “what if” questions along the way!
Themes and exhibits rotate throughout the year, so there is always something new to discover!
Until February 16, 2026, celebrate the joys of winter at Winter Wonder Lab! Embark on an arctic animal expedition, create an animated story with stop motion in the Tinker Shop, make an ooey-gooey creation at the Experiment Bar Slime Factory, and more!
Located in Fair Oaks Mall (until their permanent, full-scale science center opens in 2027), they’re open weekends, school holidays, and often when school is cancelled.
Admission includes two hours of exploration and fun; three sessions are offered: 10 am, 1 pm, and 3:30 pm. Visitors are encouraged to purchase their admission online in advance — it even saves you a few dollars!
