Celebrate the Washington Nationals’ Kids Opening Day, April 19, 2026, with kid-friendly activities at the ball field.

Sundays are Family Fundays! The Kids Zone is open to kids ages 10 & under from when gates open until the end of the 7th inning, weather permitting. Plus, the Racing Presidents greet fans and pose for photos in the Center Field Plaza 30-60 minutes before first pitch (weather permitting). Fans can also stop by the photo booth outside of section 131 during the 5th inning for another chance to meet the Racing Presidents. Plus, kids ages 4-12 are invited to run the bases at Nationals Park after every Sunday afternoon home game (weather permitting).
