Each fall, trees steal the show as they change to brilliant colors before their leaves drop. At Walker Nature Center’s Tree-rific STEAM Workshop, children will make some leaf art and do experiments to learn more about their color change.

Drop off your kids at the Walker Nature Center for a hands-on, fun learning experience on November 3, 2026. Walk the trails and learn how to ID trees found in Reston, solve tree mysteries, and learn about the parts of a tree.

For ages 6-12, pre-registration is required.
