Great Meadow is bringing the summer fun on July 4, 2026, at its annual Independence Day celebration — and this year carries extra meaning as the country marks America’s 250th birthday!
The Big Boom 4th of July Celebration, now in its 37th year, is shaping up to be an unforgettable evening of live music, a Kids Fun Zone, aerial shows, food trucks, vendors, and a custom multimedia pyromusical fireworks show to close out the night. More than 20 local vendors will be on-site selling food, beverages, and merchandise.
The 2026 schedule includes:
- 4 pm: Gates open
- 4 pm: Vendor Village
- 4:30 pm: Kids’ fun zone
- 4:30 pm: Aerial shows
- 6 pm: Live music
- 9 pm: Fireworks
