4th of July Guide › Fireworks @ Lake Fairfax Park
Celebrate Independence Day early! Join the Fairfax County Park Authority at Lake Fairfax Park for an afternoon of food trucks, picnicking, waterpark play, and a stunning fireworks display on June 28, 2025.
Ticketed entry begins at noon, and the fireworks are expected to start shortly after 9 pm. This is often a sell-out event, and pre-registration is highly recommended; link below.
The Water Mine Family Swimmin’ Hole Waterpark will be open from 11 am-6 pm (purchase tickets in advance here); guests are encouraged to arrive early, as the facility reaches capacity quickly.
