From August 8-10, 2025, fans of anime, manga, video games, music, fashion, and more are invited to the DC Convention Center for a full weekend of unforgettable experiences. With something for every age and interest, this 3-day event blends fandom and culture like no other!
Highlights Include:
- Ota-chan: A kid-friendly programming track with kid-oriented workshops and events, like crafts, project tables, anime movies, and fun galore!
- Matsuri: A festive Japanese-style celebration with crafts, yard games, carnival activities, photo ops, and main stage performances ranging from concerts and idol performances to cultural guests.
- Manga Library: A cozy space for fans to relax and read from a huge selection of manga and graphic novels.
- Idolspace at Otakon: A stage for cosplay idols, anisong (anime song) performers, and indie idol groups with live music and fan interaction.
