Slip into your socks and take a spin or two around the “ice” at the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum!
This winter, on the museum’s roof, ditch your shoes and in your socks and enjoy an outdoor rooftop Sock Skating experience! More than plain old fun, sock skating encourages balance and gross motor skills, too.
This temporary exhibit is included in the museum’s admission fee and is open during the museum’s winter hours, weather permitting.
Plan your next visit, and don’t forget your fuzzy socks, or buy a pair at the museum! This exhibit is currently available through January 31, 2024, but may stay open another month; please call ahead for availability.
