The City of Fairfax’s annual Fall Festival returns on October 11, 2025, filling the heart of Fairfax with the sights, sounds, and flavors of the season!

This hometown tradition — one of Northern Virginia’s biggest seasonal celebrations — features more than 400 art and craft vendors. Enjoy three stages of live entertainment, visit the beer gardens, and explore hands-on fun for the youngest of visitors.

Families will find a children’s area with rides, games, and special attractions, including Musical Cakes, a petting zoo, and Sparky’s Harvest Bash featuring Fairfax’s volunteer firefighters. History lovers can step inside the City of Fairfax Museum, explore the Ratcliffe-Allison-Pozer House with free guided tours, or take part in the open house at Fire Station #3.

Admission is free, while some of the fun activities, such as rides, are fee-based.
