Family Day: Creating Comics @ the Library of Congress

Take part in a fun-filled program featuring comics!

On October 18, 2025, join the Library of Congress for Family Day, where you can create your own comics, see a display of items from the Library’s extensive comics collections, and talk with comics and graphic arts specialists from the Library’s Serial and Government Publications Division.

At 2 pm, hear bestselling cartoonists Raina Telgemeier and Scott McCloud discuss how they created their graphic novel The Cartoonists Club (separate, free, advance ticketing is required).

The activities will be held on the mezzanine level of the Jefferson Building. While the event is free, tickets are required (link below).
