School’s Out at the National Building Museum offers kids a fun, hands-on way to explore architecture and design during school breaks. On December 21 & 28, 2026, take a kid-friendly tour around the museum’s winter wonderland before cozying up in a classroom to make and decorate their own wooden gingerbread house.

Program tickets are $20 per participating child and $10 per adult, which includes museum admission for a full day of discovery.
