The National Theatre is excited to introduce children to the arts! Join them throughout the year for its free performing arts series, Saturday Morning Live!

Admission is free with registration (tickets are released on Eventbrite approximately one month before each show). Walk-ups are also welcome if space is available.

Mark H. Rooney brings the power of taiko drumming to life in this high-energy, highly interactive program rooted in Japanese tradition. Traditional and contemporary songs, dynamic rhythms, and big drums highlight movement and audience connection.

Jennie the Cat: A Halloween Adventure

Created and performed by Ingrid and Mollie, this playful show follows Jennie the cat, who gets a Halloween card calling her scary and wonders who she must be. Setting off to meet new friends, she discovers tricks and treats like skateboarding, shadow puppets, and pumpkin carving — and explores who she might become. Features puppets, audience fun, and original music.
