Architecture of Tudor Place
Upon Martha and Thomas Peter purchasing the land in 1805, friend Dr. William Thornton got to work drawing up what is referred to as the Center Block of the house. This program will include a look at his architectural designs as well as records from the Historic American Building Survey (HABS), activities for all ages, and guided architecture-themed tours of the site.

Art History at Tudor Place
Tudor Place is more than a historic house, it’s an art collection. In this program, participants will learn about the collection of art gathered by multiple generations of the Peter Family, which included some members who were artists, through storytime, scavenger hunts, short talks, and more.
