Wild Kratts: Ocean Adventure!
Wild Kratts — a popular children’s show that follows the Kratt brothers as they explore animal habitats and teach kids about wildlife — is the latest inspiration behind the National Children’s Museum visiting exhibit: Wild Kratts: Ocean Adventure! Join them almost daily (closed Tuesdays) from May 24-September 7, 2025.

In this special space, aquatic creature adventures will lead kids and adults alike through ocean habitats, including experiences like:

      • The Tortuga: Suit up with a creature power vest, meet the Kratts Team, and prep for missions at Wild Kratts HQ.
      • Miniaturizer: Shrink down to explore a tide pool, “swim” past anemones, try lobster vision, and more.
      • Dolphin Decoder: Build your own dolphin name using a sequence of clicks and whistles.
      • A Tooth for a Tooth: Help replace a great white shark’s teeth as fast as they fall out.
      • Steer an Amphisub: Navigate ocean depths in a mini-sub and search for elusive sea creatures.
      • Super Sonic Surprise: Harness whale power to blast air and uncover hidden clues.
      • Digital Aquarium: Create a custom marine animal, scan it, and watch it swim in a digital tank.

While you’ll only find the Wild Kratts until September 7, 2025, you’ll always find these hands-on exhibits beloved by families, no matter if it’s their first visit or their tenth!

      • Art & Tech: Get creative with Nickelodeon favs like SpongeBob SquarePants and PAW Patrol — virtual slime brings the fun without the mess!
      • Data Science Alley: Explore how data is collected and used through interactive games and everyday stats.
      • Dream Machine: Climb, slide, and explore in this 3-story, wheelchair-accessible play zone.
      • Engineering Games & Play: Design and test vehicles on a special track, learning about materials and motion with a sports twist.
      • Innovation Sandbox: Spark lightning, shape clouds, and take climate action in a digital playground.
      • Little Dreamers: Clouds and flight inspire movement in this space designed for infants and toddlers.
