Did you know that furry, fanged, and winged creatures at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo love Halloween?! Celebrate with them for three nights, from October 18-20, 2024, and visit around 30 treat stations with a complimentary souvenir trick-or-treat tote bag!
Feast your eyes on spellbinding habitats decorated with Jack-O-Lanterns, spooky enrichment, and tasty treats for the animals, while fiendishly fun vignettes featuring frolicking skeletons and fantastical creatures liven up the Zoo’s main pathway, Olmsted Walk.
Plus, enjoy after-hours access to many popular exhibits, including the Elephant Community Center, Small Mammal House, and Reptile Discovery Center.
Tickets for the event, as well as parking, go on sale to the public beginning August 22, 2024.
Offering free admission daily (special events are fee-based), the National Zoo, a Smithsonian institution founded in 1889, is one of the oldest zoos in the United States.
