<< The Big Holiday Guide

The White House will twinkle a little brighter this holiday season with a unique addition to President’s Park! There, you’ll find the National Christmas Tree decked out with thousands of lights!

Family-friendly fun delivered straight to your inbox!

The tree will be lit daily during the holiday season (open to the public from December 5-January 1, 2025) from approximately 4:30 to 10 pm. On select nights, local and national music groups will provide holiday entertainment for a unique experience!

This year’s National Christmas Tree, a 20-foot Fraser Fir, debuts from Cartner’s Christmas Tree Farm in Newland, NC. Steeped in history and tradition, it’ll be surrounded by 58 smaller trees decorated with one-of-a-kind ornaments — each representing a US state or territory and the District of Columbia. Fifty-eight artists gave their time and talents to design and create ornaments that symbolize their homeland’s history, heritage, and culture.
