AGES 5-7

Painting & Drawing
Ages 5-7
In this immersive week-long camp, young artists build skills and confidence as they explore the essentials of painting and drawing. Each day focuses on new techniques and materials, from pencil, charcoal, pastels, and ink to watercolor, tempera, and acrylics. Campers practice color mixing, brushwork, layering, and composition through still lifes, landscapes, portraits, imaginative scenes, and abstract work — taking home a portfolio of finished pieces by the end of the week.

Surf & Turf
Ages 5-7
Campers make a splash with this ocean-inspired art camp, exploring life above and below the waves through hands-on projects. They experiment with printmaking, drawing, and painting to create colorful ocean animals, seaside scenes, and boat-inspired artwork, then dive into jewelry making with shells, shark teeth, beach glass, wire, and natural fibers — the perfect mix of art, adventure, and seaside fun!

Modern Masters: Creating Through the 20th Century
Ages 5-7
Campers travel through one of the most exciting eras in art history, exploring the bold ideas and innovations of 20th-century artists to inspire their own work. Each day focuses on a different artist or movement — Fauvist landscapes after Matisse, cut-paper compositions like Romare Bearden, abstract expressionist techniques after Kandinsky or Pollock, pop-art prints in the spirit of Warhol, or playful sculptures reminiscent of Calder. Through drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, and simple sculpture, campers create a portfolio of original pieces full of color and personal expression.

Through painting, collage, and 3D design, campers celebrate animals while spreading kindness to shelter pets in need.

StoryCraft: Art from Fairytales & Folk Stories
Ages 5-7
Campers step into a world where stories come to life through art, using beloved fairytales and folk stories as inspiration for imaginative, hands-on projects. Each day begins with a tale — classic fairytales, folk stories from around the world, and modern favorites — that sparks ideas for paintings, whimsical sculptures, character puppets, and mixed-media story scenes. Through drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, and simple sculpture, campers build creativity and confidence and take home a collection of story-inspired creations.

This immersive camp is a week of creativity, color, and hands-on making as campers explore textile-based techniques and discover the expressive potential of fabric, yarn, and fibers. Projects may include weaving on simple looms, felting soft sculptures and pictures, hand-stitching and embroidery, fabric collage, and playful yarn crafts. Each day introduces a new technique, letting campers build skills, experiment with materials, and create artwork they’re proud to take home — perfect for kids who love making things with their hands.

Printmaking, Bookmaking & Papermaking
Ages 5-7
Campers enjoy a hands-on artistic adventure exploring a wide array of making techniques. They start by transforming simple materials into beautiful sheets of handmade paper, experimenting with color, texture, and embedded natural elements, then dive into printmaking techniques like silkscreening, relief prints, and monoprints. As the week unfolds, they turn their printed papers into unique artist books using accordion folds, stitched bindings, and pop-up or collage elements — taking home original prints, custom papers, and a handmade book. No prior experience needed.

They experiment with painting, drawing, printmaking, and crafts inspired by the rich artistic traditions of Asia — from intricate patterns and paper arts to textile-inspired designs and decorative crafts. Each project celebrates creativity, culture, and the joy of making art by hand.

Campers unleash their creativity and help the planet at the same time, transforming everyday recycled materials into amazing works of art. They build sculptures from wood, sticks, stones, shells, and cleaned cardboard, plastics, nuts, bolts, and caps headed for the recycling bin, emphasizing sculpture concepts such as positive and negative space, additive and subtractive building, texture, and color. Campers also draw inspiration from artists who use recycled objects, including Louise Nevelson, Joseph Cornell, and Vik Muniz.

From fine arts and crafts to games and culture, every day brings a new place to learn about — perfect for elementary-age kids who love to explore, imagine, and create.

Learn to Throw on the Pottery Wheel
Ages 10-14
Campers get their hands dirty in this exciting week-long pottery camp for teens and tweens. Whether they’re beginners or have some experience, campers learn the fundamentals of throwing on the pottery wheel along with a few hand-building techniques. Guided by skilled instructors, they practice centering clay, shaping bowls and mugs, trimming, and glazing — building confidence and skill as each day brings new challenges. All work is fired and ready for pickup three weeks after camp ends.
