Lil’ Boots Soccer Camp
Ages 5-6
In this active, fun introduction to soccer, campers learn fundamental skills through creative activities, challenges, and games in a positive, supportive way. They develop physical skills such as coordination and balance, as well as important cognitive skills such as listening, communication, and problem-solving.
World Cup Soccer Camp
Ages 7-13
Be part of the excitement and camaraderie of the World Cup! Along with traditional technical, cognitive, and foot skills soccer training, players enjoy a week of activities like World Cup tournament-style games, challenges, and learning about the traditions of the World Cup and participating countries.

This girls-only camp focuses on skill development, decision-making, and leadership. Campers are encouraged to take risks and step outside their comfort zones through indoor futsal play and team-building activities, leaving them stronger and more confident.
Goalkeeper Training Plus Soccer Camp
Ages 8-13
Develop the technical, physical, and cognitive skill sets unique to goalkeeping, including a deeper understanding of attackers’ techniques and strategies. By design, this camp focuses on skills and strategy in the morning, then provides additional field-player training in the afternoon, allowing players to develop both inside and outside the goal.
Ball Mastery Soccer Camp
Ages 7-8
Perhaps your child finished a younger introductory program, or maybe they are older but newly interested in soccer. This camp provides a bridge to more advanced play by developing and refining basic skills such as ball control, first touch, passing, and dribbling, helping your player prepare for the next step with confidence.
Art of Scoring Goals Soccer Camp

Players develop strategic and technical skills through a variety of finishing activities, including brain-body cognitive training. They learn to get into scoring position, improve overall shooting and finishing techniques, enhance shot power and accuracy, dissect goalkeepers’ vulnerabilities, and more. Positive Touch Footskills Soccer Camp

Players focus on individual technical skills and improve their touch on the ball by developing ball mastery, dribbling, quick feet, moves, feints, 1v1 skills, and more. Through innovative cognitive training techniques and engaging activities, players develop their finesse and soccer IQ, becoming more crafty, imaginative, creative, and confident.

This camp is for players who are comfortable with the ball and have soccer experience. Days are action-packed with high-intensity drills that build confidence in decision-making on and off the ball and in playing in tight spaces. Drills are complemented with fun activities like soccer tennis, capture the flag, and relays, promoting a competitive nature and team bonding. Individual technical training focuses on 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 skills, as well as ball mastery.

Ages 5-14
Led by experienced coach Katrina Reed, this girls’ basketball camp focuses on skill improvement, teamwork, and life skills. Campers benefit from challenging drills and guidance from high school and collegiate counselors.
Patriot Girls Basketball Camp
Ages 6-14
Girls develop fundamental basketball skills under the direction of former Yorktown varsity girls basketball coach Kip Davis, with additional staff of local college and girls’ high school standouts. The camp strives to provide a positive environment for girls to improve and expand their basketball skills, with sessions including drills, clinics, games, tournaments, intramurals, and more.

Ages 5-8
Campers have the opportunity to develop and improve upon the basic fundamental skills of basketball. Each day, campers participate in skill development, lead-up games, and activities.

This camp focuses on basketball and a variety of different sports. Full-day campers play a half-day of basketball and then learn and play another fun sport; half-day campers focus on basketball and a variety of other sports. Boys Basketball Camp

This elite camp, led by Joe Reed, who has 20 years of coaching experience, is for advanced players aiming for high school- or college-level competition. Reed’s teams have achieved championships and top rankings. Campers develop advanced basketball skills, teamwork, and life skills under the guidance of collegiate players and coaches.

Beginners Baseball Camp
Ages 5-6
Fun skill development includes hitting, base running, fielding, throwing, and catching, with an emphasis on group interaction, cooperation, and team play. Games are held each day, along with enjoyable, well-structured learning experiences designed for beginner skill levels, with plenty of repetition, and T-ball and coach-pitch scrimmage games.
Skills & Game Baseball Camp

This popular camp, held in Arlington since 1992, is ideal for players who love America’s favorite pastime. A seasoned staff of high school coaches and certified public school educators provides an enjoyable, well-structured learning experience for all skill levels. The curriculum is designed for max touch, providing plenty of repetitions, and coach-pitch scrimmage games are held each day.
Advanced Infield & Hitting Baseball Camp
Ages 10-14
This camp is for experienced players who want to refine their skills. Players are grouped by age and skill level and receive instruction on the finer points of the game, with lots of repetitions in small groups and plenty of feedback. Fun mini-competitions are held throughout, with instruction from high school coaches and college players. Camps are held Monday through Thursday only.
Advanced Pitching & Catching Baseball Camp
Ages 10-14
This camp is for pitchers and catchers who want to improve their skills at one of these positions. Pitchers receive individualized instruction in proper movement patterns and pitch grips, as well as strength and flexibility training. Catchers work on proper stances, receiving, blocking, and throwing. Instruction is provided by high school coaches and college players.
Youth Flag Football Camp

This non-contact, fundamental flag football camp is designed to improve a child’s skills at the beginner, intermediate, or advanced level. Fundamentals of all positions on offense, defense, and special teams are taught, along with life skills such as teamwork, communication, sportsmanship, and the importance of education.

This is the ultimate sports camp, ideal for all children who want to have fun while being exposed to a variety of sports. Campers participate in basketball, soccer, flag football, whiffleball, and volleyball, as well as many other sports-related activities.
Dance Camp
Ages 7-11
Campers love this full-day dance camp where staff teach choreography and movement set to some of today’s most popular songs. Arts and crafts are also incorporated as campers decorate props and shirts. After a week of hard work, campers show off their new dance moves on the final day of camp.

This camp combines physical activity with the opportunity to play some of the most popular Esports games. Campers spend half the day developing sports skills and playing games like basketball, soccer, handball, and capture the flag, emphasizing teamwork and sportsmanship. The other half is spent in the Esports lab learning gaming techniques and strategy for NBA2K, FIFA, NHL, and Gran Turismo.
Cheer Camp

Go-Team-Win! This energizing week helps beginner to intermediate cheerleaders sharpen fundamentals, master new techniques, and build confidence. Athletes develop jumps, flexibility, and dance skills while learning teamwork and determination, culminating in a polished Friday performance showcasing their progress and spirit.
Fencing & Archery Battle Camp

This camp teaches two great Olympic sports at one fun camp. Campers split their time between archery, fencing, and traditional camp fun and games, including ga-ga ball. Learn archery from the great instructors using the USA Archery Explore Archery program, while professional fencing coaches teach core foundational skills like advance, retreat, thrust, and lunge as campers learn to fence.

Capital has partnered with Baroody Camp for their camps. Come try ultimate frisbee! It is a fast-paced, fun outdoor game that anybody can learn and enjoy. Fun & Fitness has a dedicated Personal Trainer on staff, and participants experience a variety of physically active adventures through on-site activities, two bus trips, and one walking trip per week, as well as daily strength, conditioning, cardio, and weight room activities.
OUTDOOR & ADVENTURE CAMPS
Young Anglers
Ages 7-10
Fish & Explore takes campers to lakes, rivers, and the Chesapeake Bay to catch fish and learn water safety, nature awareness, and the basics of freshwater and saltwater fishing, including casting, rigging, knot tying, selecting tackle and lures, and identifying fish. Campers wear life jackets when in the water or on a boat, and all gear is supplied.
Native Animal Explorers Camp
Ages 7-11
Fish & Explore transports campers off-site to hike trails, wade in streams, and walk pond and lake shores to find native wildlife. Campers observe, catch, photograph, and release frogs, toads, tadpoles, salamanders, lizards, turtles, crayfish, minnows, and other small critters.
Young Adventurers Camp
Ages 7-9
Young Adventurers Camp is a dynamic week-long outdoor experience tailored for kids with a passion for exploring nature and the wild. Each day offers a different adventure, including building a fire (complete with hot dogs and s’mores), hiking, exploring the creek, and climbing. Campers are transported to various scenic spots, equipped with all necessary gear, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and skill development.
Survival Camp
Ages 9-13
Embark on an exciting adventure at Survival Camp, where campers learn essential outdoor skills. Guided by experienced instructors, participants practice survival techniques, teamwork, and nature exploration. The group travels within an hour of Northern Virginia to explore local flora and fauna and practice navigation skills, and campers enjoy kayaking while learning how other cultures survive. Shelter building, fire making, and problem-solving complete this hands-on wilderness experience.
Adventure Fishing Camp

Adventure Fishing Camp is an immersive week-long day camp that offers young anglers a comprehensive fishing experience. From mastering fishing equipment to understanding fish behavior and responsible angling practices, campers gain the knowledge and skills to become self-reliant anglers. Throughout the week, campers fish in a variety of scenic locations, including freshwater ponds, rivers, lakes, and even the Chesapeake Bay.
Mountain Biking Camp
Ages 9-14
Mountain Biking Camp offers an exhilarating week-long experience for young riders eager to master the art of mountain biking. From foundational skills to intermediate challenges, campers receive comprehensive instruction on steering, shifting, hill climbing and descending, obstacle negotiation, trail etiquette, bike maintenance, safety, and more. Note: campers must already be able to ride a bike and be comfortable on unlevel terrain, such as gravel and grass.

Summer is for exploring with this van travel camp! Walk through cool, shady forests, enjoy mountaintop views, wade in the water, and net aquatic critters across the DMV.

Come enjoy this fast-paced summer camp, where participants take daily field trips to some of the most fun-filled places in the DMV. Trip locations range from bowling to go-kart racing to swimming pools and more! This camp is for rising 7th-10th graders.

Get ready for a week of delicious fun, creativity, and color! This camp invites young artists and chefs to explore both the kitchen and the art studio. Each day, campers whip up tasty, kid-friendly recipes while learning basic cooking skills, kitchen safety, and teamwork, then switch gears to design and paint their own ceramic masterpieces, such as mugs, plates, and figurines.

Get ready for a week filled with creativity, color, and hands-on fun! Each day dives into a new art form, such as pottery, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and mixed media. Ready to get your hands messy and your imagination soaring? Campers learn the basics of hand-built pottery, making pinch pots, coil pots, and slabs with real stoneware clay, and paint pre-made pottery pieces. The creativity continues with modeling clay, air-dry clay projects, and drawing. Pieces are fired in the kiln, and camp ends with an art show.

Nature Play has a dedicated Naturalist, and campers experience the wonders of nature and the outdoors daily through on-site activities or short walks to Long Branch Nature Center.
American Revolution Camp

It’s 1776, and the American colonies are in turmoil! Will you support the King in Great Britain or throw in your lot with the American patriots? Campers travel to local sites and explore the ideas that inspired the nation’s founding, what it was like to be a soldier in George Washington’s army, and more.
Civil War Spy Camp
Ages 7-12
Our spies found important information and need our campers’ help to relay the message. Campers learn about Civil War spies and the techniques they used, such as codes, disguises, and more. Daily games let them perfect their spy skills, hopefully without getting caught!
Animal Adventures Camp
Ages 6-7
Wood frogs, foxes, box turtles, oh my! Arlington is home to many creatures, each with their own story as they live their secretive lives in our backyards, forests, streams, and ponds. Meet some friendly characters through crafts, games, and hikes in the Gulf Branch woods.
Civil War Soldier Camp
Ages 6-9
No slouching in this camp! Our young recruits learn to march and drill like a well-trained infantry unit. They practice loading artillery, building fortifications, and playing games in this half-day camp.
Habitat Explorers Camp
Ages 8-9
Get your boots on and explore the many wonderful habitats around Gulf Branch Park! Campers learn about each habitat and the fascinating animals and plants that call the park home, then hike the trails to see them firsthand.
Battlefield Explorers Camp
Ages 11-14
Take a deeper dive into the history of the Civil War with this van travel camp! Campers travel to notable battlefields, hike the grounds, visit the museums, and learn the stories of those who lived, worked, and died there.
