Virginia Tech alum and now retired first-grade teacher Ann Marie Stephens knows a thing or two about the importance picture books can have in the classroom! Stephens views books as an “unforgettable vacation for the brain,” and as such, has written her own incredibly entertaining escapes that invite children into lands where anything is possible, including lots of learning!
