For more than three decades, Loudoun County’s Spring Farm Tour has showcased the county’s farms through a popular, weekend-long event offering an insider’s view into more than 30 unique agricultural destinations.

From charming encounters with llamas, alpacas, and donkeys to indulging in delectable homemade ice cream at a dairy farm, the Loudoun Farm Tour, October 18-19, 2025, offers a cornucopia of experiences for visitors of all ages. Grab the event’s hop-on-hop-off shuttles and find your new favorite brewery, fruit farm, gourmet mushroom, farm animals, and so much more!

While each location offers something different, many offer animal meet-and-greets, demonstrations, tours, tastings, shopping, and more! A few of the participating destinations include:

Aurora Apiary • Aldie, VA
Aurora Apiary has ~30 hives producing honey from wild Blackberries, Locust, Pear, and Persimmon blossoms. They offer home-baked goods, honey products, educational activities, and guided tours.

Blooming Hill Lavender Farm & Gift Shop • Purcellville, VA
Blooming Hill Lavender Farm & Gift Shop is a boutique lavender farm with about 100 varieties. It offers a garden-style shop with lavender plants, products, and decor. In the gardens, you can enjoy lavender-infused tea, scones, and ice cream.

Brookfield Dairy Farm • Leesburg, VA
Brookfield Dairy Farm is a traditional working dairy farm offering milking demonstrations, farm tours, and children’s activities, plus an ice cream trailer.

Three Cap Farms • Leesburg, VA
Three Cap Farms is a local cultivator of gourmet mushrooms and mushroom-related products. Visit for a guided tour of the cultivation facility and learn about their growing methods.

Wegmeyer Farms • Hamilton, VA
Wegmeyer Farms is known for its delicious spring strawberry crop, offering a pick-your-own experience. Learn about the life cycle of strawberry plants and the raised-bed growing method.

Wheatland Spring • Waterford, VA
Wheatland Spring is an estate brewery growing malting barley and grains for beer. They offer complimentary tastings, farm tours, and a Saturday Farmers Market.

Zephaniah/Mill Road Farm • Leesburg, VA
Zephaniah/Mill Road Farm is a family farm with pasture-based livestock, a vineyard, and a winery. Enjoy hyperlocal meals with beef and wine, see the livestock and grapevines, and meet the producers.
