Play All Day VA celebrates the longest day of the year (the summer solstice) with fun, free activities throughout the state on June 20, 2025! At Franklin Park Arts Center, families can enjoy:

Letterbox Search
You have all day to search for letterboxes hidden on the trail at Franklin Regional Park. (Stop in the Arts Center or the Franklin Park Pool desk for a list of clues.) At the end of the day (7-8 pm), gather at the Hillsboro Pavilion for an ice cream party to meet other letterboxers and swap stamps and stories.

Paint a Patriotic Quilt Square
The center will supply the 1′ x 1′ wooden square and paint. You supply the creativity! Then, see them on display in Franklin Regional Park through July 4th.

Flower Headbands
After viewing the Inspired by Frida Kahlo exhibit in the gallery, create a tissue paper flower headband.

All activities are free.
