The Upperville Colt & Horse Show isn’t just for equestrians — it’s for kids, families, and horse-lovers alike! As the oldest horse show in the United States, this historic event celebrates its 173rd anniversary from June 1-7, 2026, offering an unforgettable experience.

Even if you’re not part of the sport horse world, there’s plenty to see and do. Watch as the nation’s top-ranked hunters and jumpers take center stage, competing alongside local ponies, sidesaddle riders, and young equestrians. The week culminates with the $200,000 Upperville Jumper Classic FEI CSI4* on June 7, drawing top equestrians from around the world.

Families will find plenty to enjoy beyond the rings. Kids of all ages can explore creativity with local artists at “Art Under the Oaks” (June 3-6, free), and the beloved Pup Parade on June 7 invites junior dog lovers to parade their furry friends around the main hunter ring.
