The Big Dig of Northern Virginia
It’s big fun at The Big Dig! Alongside construction professionals, kids are invited to operate some pretty big machinery, like excavators, scissor lifts, and more – all under the supervision of skilled construction professionals!
Hosted on October 4, 2025, this special you-touch event will benefit local children and families affected by pediatric cancer. Since 2021, The Big Dig has raised more than $450,000 for pediatric research grants and helps to fund a Child Life Specialist at Inova Children’s Hospital in the Pediatric Oncology Department.
