Creepy-crawly fun is waiting at Lake Accotink Park!
Families are invited to Bug Fest — an insect-filled adventure on September 26, 2026. Celebrate the amazing world of insects and learn why they’re so important to the ecosystem!
Enjoy insect safari hikes, live insect meet-and-greets, bug-themed crafts, games, storybook readings, a buggy maze, and a spiderweb slackline course.
Register by September 25 and save $2 per person.
All the fun happens at Lake Accotink Park. Located in Springfield, VA, the park spans 500 acres and includes a 55-acre lake, an extensive trail system, and plenty for families to enjoy. Play a round at Lucky Duck mini golf, enjoy a ride on the park’s 26-horse antique carousel, or visit the massive, modern playground.
