Celebrate Reston! returns to Lake Anne Plaza on April 18, 2026, marking 22 years of the event and Reston’s own 62nd birthday!

Formerly known as Founder’s Day, this free community gathering honors Bob Simon’s vision of Reston as a place to live, work, and play — a vision still very much alive today.

Celebrate Reston will feature live performances, a book fair featuring local authors, art walks, talks with historians, organizations, and vendors, and family-friendly activities for all ages!
