Sidewalk Picassos, assemble! On October 17, 2026, ChalkFest will transform the streets of Reston Town Center into a vibrant, colorful outdoor gallery. Come as a spectator or competitor (kids & families, too!).

As a spectator — see masterpieces come alive, plus enjoy live music, face painting, and more. As a competitor (kids, families, amateurs), unleash your inner artist in a dedicated space. Compete for category prizes, plus a People’s Choice Award decided by online voting.

Admission is free; registration is only required if you’d like to create your own artwork. A limited number of complimentary squares are reserved for families who need a little help with the registration fee.

Complimentary garage parking is available Friday after 5 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday. Learn more about parking at Reston Town Center.
