A one-day community event on April 18, 2026, Sherando High School’s Touch-a-Truck,  offers families the opportunity to see, touch, explore, and learn about their favorite trucks, construction vehicles, and public safety equipment used throughout our communities. People will be present to answer questions and assist kids who would like to sit in the vehicles. Bring your camera for lots of fun photos!

Learn about public safety and fire prevention. Plus, new this year – a small student band ensemble will be performing throughout the event!

Hangry? Multiple food vendors will be on-site selling snacks, drinks, lunch, and sweet treats!

Admission is $5 per person (credit cards accepted).
