Join in for a full day of patriotic events, including daytime fireworks over the Potomac, historic demonstrations, family activities, and a moving naturalization ceremony.
On July 4, 2026, An American Celebration at Mount Vernon is the perfect place to commemorate the day with a festive display of made-for-daytime fireworks over the Potomac River at 1 pm on the east lawn.
This special day includes a moving ceremony in which people from across the world become US citizens, and made-for-daytime fireworks over the Potomac River East Lawn.
