Soar Together Family Day • Innovations in Flight @ National Air & Space Museum

The National Air & Space Museum in DC is hosting a Family Day on June 13, 2026, that’s all about the need for speed. How fast is fast? When is slow better?
Explore how speed depends on an aircraft’s job—from super fast jets to steady cargo planes, helicopters, and gliders that are designed to fly just right.
