National Insect Week takes place in June, so let’s learn about all the amazing insects that call Reston home.

On June 16 & 20, 2026, little ones will buzz like bees through the gardens in search of pollinators, roll logs and rocks to search for insects and other creepy crawlies, and observe a cool insect collection under a microscope. Plus, they’ll make a unique insect to bring home.
