It’s a milestone year for your little one! Kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year is now open for Loudoun County Public Schools. Follow these five steps to enroll your child today:
- Determine Eligibility
Children must be 5 years old on or before September 30 of the year they enter school and must reside in Loudoun County with a parent or legal guardian. - Find Your Neighborhood School
Use the LCPS Attendance Boundary E-Listing to locate your student’s home school. - Gather Required Documents
Parents must provide proof of residency, age, guardianship, immunizations, and health records. The full list is available on the LCPS website. - Complete Online Pre-Registration
Families new to LCPS must create a ParentVue account to register. Current families can access the portal through their existing account. Visit the link below for step-by-step instructions. - Schedule an Appointment with the School
Once online registration is complete, the school registrar will contact you within five business days to schedule a registration appointment.
Families interested in the Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program — where students spend 50% of the day learning in Spanish and 50% in English — should note that the lottery registration deadline is March 21, 2026. Seats are limited, so don’t wait!
